i'm watching it this weekend in LA, so excited! :)
I can't quite put into words what I'm thinking, and I've got zero background in dance of any kind, but: somehow a lot of his moves made me think that I'd seen them before but being done by women. I'm not sure that there's anything essentially feminine about them, but...a lot of them just reminded me of Britney or Shakira for some reason.

You know me, I'll defend Hrithik to the death, but I hear what you're saying.
I think that choreography is just bad for his body shape. (imagine it on Abishek for comparison) The lil' stripper gyration Hrithik does is standard prerequisite to "pole dance 101" I'm sure...
At the same time, it's not quite as bad as the fruit fest in Mission Kashmir.
It's premiering here on Friday, with some previews on Thursday. I'll try to catch it over the weekend or in the beginning of next week, yay!
Well, I am not a big Hrithik fan...but it is getting more and more difficult to resist him...so much so...with Dhoom 2, he is moving to replace Abhishek's position in my heard...I am ashamed of my vulnerability!
Probably he seemed too perfectly handsome before, so i thought he looked more pretty than handsome...but in Dhoom2, he has suddenly got it right!!
As for dance moves...i know this is my new hrithik fixation saying...but, hell, he makes them look less feminine and more lithe...and I find Shakira and Britney very masculine, nothwithstanding hip shake and all...please save me now!!!!
At this rate we'll have to start a "fug the choreographer" thread.
And t-hype, there is no disrespect from me towards Hrithik. Love 'im. Not as much as you, but still.
t-hype, all I can say if you have not seen it yet is go and see. Your boo looks more than fine in the movie, he looks superfine. Just got back from seeing it, was good.
t-hype, i just saw it too! don't expect much in terms of plot or dialogue -- this movie is all about showcasing how ridiculously hot ash and hrithik are. and how beautiful brazil is. and that browns can dance. and that they're hot. that's pretty much the whole movie -- but still, hrithik looks foine.
