Happy New Year!

So here I am in a new year wondering if anyone is still reading this blog...
I'm at a loss as for what's coming up in Bollywood these days or as to what films of note I might have missed. What should I watch next?

Believe it or not, it was easier for me to get Indian films in Nashville than here in Seoul. I've been told there are a couple of markets here in town but apparently, they're all segregated to one area of town (Itaewon). That being the case, for better or for worse, I've resorted to torrent sites to get my fix.

I need recommendations!

And, as much as I complained about Akshay Kumar's last cinematic adventure, for some reason, I can't help but want to watch this one.

Part of what kept me blogging in the beginning was the feeling that there was so much more to see. Now that I'm near a hundred viewings, I know deep down inside that is NOT the case. Still, I'm not quite ready to throw in the towel. ;)

Happy New Year everyone!

No towel-throwing! I have seen a grand total of 4 movies released in 2008 - and most people tell me I haven't missed too much. :) Of course I still want to see Drona, even though everyone hates it. I'll try Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Rock On, Dostana, and probably Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic just for the love of Rani. But if you want to know about some 60s and 70s goodness, drop me a line :) Oh. Pyaar Kiye Ja, definitely get that one. 1966 and silly and super-fab!

Definitely 2008 was one of the worste years for bollywood. There was almost no good movies. But.. I can recommend u some movies-

1. Rock On (must watch)
2. A Wednesday
3. Oye Lucky Lucky Oye
Other than this, u can watch Fashion. I mean, so many dresses to watch!

Some upcoming movies-

1. Chandni Chawk to China (Starring Akshay Kumar, Deepika- releasing on 16 jan)
2. Luck By Chance ( starring Hrithik, Farhan and Konkona ShenShorma- releasing on 30 jan)
3. Kites (again Hrithik- hopefully releasing in May)

And beth, If u are a SRK fan (Hardcore), u will LOVE Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Otherwise, it's a boring movie.
Happy new year to all!

t, I am really sorry that I told u to watch Chandi Chawk 2 China. It is the crappiest movie i've ever seen. In compare to this, Sing Is King was a masterpiece. What a waste of money! Don't waste ur time.
How are u?
